Dusty gas enters the dust collector from the inlet. The airflow turns downward and impacts on the water surface, and some larger dust particles fall into the water. When the dusty gas passes through the "S" - shaped channel between the upper and lower blades at a speed of 10 - 15 meters per second, a large amount of water splashes are stirred up, making the water and gas fully contact. Most of the fine dust particles are mixed into the water. Due to the centrifugal force, the dusty gas forms a vortex chamber in the "S" - shaped channel. In the vortex chamber, the whole flow direction changes, thus generating the necessary relative movement between dust particles and droplets, which becomes an effective dust - removing process.
